Hit List Is Up, Dodging The Bullet Or Toast

i suggest you go follow the links provided in this postSocial Reject-Bloggy Rudeness by jane...as noted in the comments there, they seem to be focusing on Kazaa users so far...of course, i checked, and you should too, to see if you are now on the hit list or have still dodged the bullet...in a bizarre side note to this whole issue, it seems that maybe jacko isn't totally whacko, as he released a statement saying that while he does not condone piracy, he thinks jailing people for peer sharing music is just wrong...whoop whoop...thank you jacko for being a voice of reason(boy, sure feels weird saying that)...he is still strange as they come, but seems to have touched down briefly here.

I hate the R.I.A.A.! Those people just piss me off to no end.

I saw on the EFF site that there is a list of lawyers willing to help people being sued by R.I.A.A. I think what will happen is that R.I.A.A. will sue an astronomical number of people, those people will get lawyers and then the whole mess will get tied up in court for say, oh about 25 years or so. In the meantime, P2P software developers will devise ways for people to download anonymously and protect their shared files. Files will continue to be traded in numbers that will be incalculable. The outcome, occurring approximately in the year 2028, will be the bankruptcy of R.I.A.A., a bunch of rich lawyers and the show, as always, will go on.

Well, that's what I'd like to see, anyway. Heh.

ahhh....close to nice anyways...i want to see all of the blood sucking fuckheads who have and do get rich from the work and pain or musicians drop dead from the typical spate of rock star deaths...a few in plane crashes, a few in car wrecks, most chocking on thier puke, and for the highest of the high the worst death, alone by od or suicide drowing in despair as so many have gone

how do you know if they traced you through bearshare because ive d/loaded quite a few things? how can i hide my pcs ip number and all my pc id stuff?

well if you show up on the cumulative list maintained on who is being sued they have surely traced you...other than that i am not sure how easily you could determine if you have been traced...you can not hipe your ip address while using bearshare, or most other common peershare applications...the best way to limit your chances of getting trouble is to limit how many files you are sharing with the network, when using peershare...they are primarily targeting users sharing large numbers of files(hundreds, or thousands)...check out the Electronic Frontier Foundation www.eff.org for good info on this.
