not sure how it came about, but i have renewed some very old friendships in the last two months....one with my best friend from high school and another with one of my best friends from my 20's....don't live in the same state as either, hadn't talked to either of them in over 10 years, but in both cases it was like we never spent time apart...it is so cool to be able to instantly regain that feeling of closeness, and in one sense it is as if no time has passed at all...they both sound the same as they did, and while we are all older, we all seem to still be the people we were, and liked in each other....life never fails to surprise me, and i love when they are good surprises.
