thanks to the digusting intimidation campaign waged by some dickweed right wing bigshot contrator in San Antonio, the firm contracted to build a new facility for Planned Parenthodd has decided to pull out of their contract due to the problems the campaign had caused in their ability to get subcontractors to do work, and trouble getting critical supplies like concrete...while Planned Parenthood has vowed to find a way to get the facility built, i'm sure it will not be easy, or soon...of course the people waging this misguided intimidation are overjoyed in preventing construction, claiming their success in stopping Planned Parenthood from opening another abortion mill, while ignoring the fact that abortions only comprise a small percentage of the services provided by Planned Parenthood...thank you for once again denying badly needed low cost pre-natal care, education, and the other services provided by Planned Parenthood, in your quest to deny women the right to choice...funny how it is mostly men who are the most vocal, and violent of the pro-lifers...funny how they go on about how sacred life is, yet put no effort towards ensuring those children would be raised in a caring environment...really funny how so many of these men, claim to be uber-patriots, and yet seem to be more in tune with the Taliban than our constitution when it comes to womens rights...in honor of these intrepid tramplers of our freedoms, i have decided that San Antonio shall be known as San Asshatonio (thank you social reject for coining the term asshat) from here forward.

I would like to say I did NOT coin the term "asshat". I don't know who did, but it most definitely was NOT me.
What I also don't get about the pro-lifers is by preventing a Planned Parenthood from operating, they will in turn cause more abortions to be performed due to the lack of education, information and other services that such facilities provide. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face, or to put a finer point on it, throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
I agree the most vocal and violent of pro-lifers are no-life men who probably still live with their mothers and have a deep hatred of women in general. We should just round up all these nutballs, put 'em on an island somewhere and let 'em wipe each other out. Then the rest of us thinking, rational people who actually live in reality can get on with our lives.

I will say I'm a proponent of Planned Parenthood. I'll also say that anyone who things the most vocal pro-lifers are men obviously haven't been to a pro-life rally. I guess it sits easier on your mind when you can label anyone who disagrees with you a women-hater. That's an old trick with Jane. The hard core pro lifers that I've found are loving mothers, who can't accept the idea of killing a child.
Posted by: Geoffrey at November 19, 2003 10:30 AMi have been to pro-life rallies, in the spirit of fairness...i have also dealt with the extrimist bastards who terrorise clinics and planned parenthood, and has nothing but scorn for those who seem to thrive on causing more misery to those facing difficult situations, quite often having nothing to do with abortion, though the fanatics seem to care not a whit...while many hard core pro-lifers may be women, the ones acting most reprehesibly seem to be men, as are the onse most aggressively pursuing anti-abortion legislation.

Yes, that's it. I want your blog shut down. Nah, I just like to point out how bitter you still are that so systematically discounted all your arguments, you had to ask me to leave your blog to avoid further embarrassment. It's still fun to laugh at you, knowing that no matter how tough you play it elsewhere, you still know inside that your argument is bunk, I proved it to be bunk, and you fear other people will spot it too.
Anyway, I'll agree with the violent attachment. I think men are naturally more violent than women. That's it, though. I think it's women that pursue the issue with tenacity.
