The Jury Is Out

well the verdict came back guilty for the twin scumbags that beat a child with a tree branch for goofing off during their church's summer program...Joshua and Caleb Thompson now fac3e a sentance ranging from probation to life...the jusry is deliberating their fate, and hopefully will do the right thing and send them away for a long long time...of course their slimeball lawyer thinks that they are "ideal" candidates for probation...why...just because one is a pastor and neither has been caught doing wrong till now...fuck that...they still don't really get the fact they did wrong, very wrong beating an 11 year old boy...they still try and deny that they beat him visciously, or had hit him so many times...i suppose it is easy to trivialize, or lessen what was done when you weren't the recipient of the beating, though i guess they will be once in prison...while not a big fan of prosecutors in general, i am one now of Beth Payan for telling it straight...she called the twins cowards, and bullies, and said that the beating was a cold, calculated, violent act...about as true as it gets...i hope this jury sees that too.
